Senator Paskvan, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Resources Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 1903. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 29(RES) Urging the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, to plug legacy wells properly and to reclaim the legacy well sites as soon as possible in order to protect the environment in the Arctic region; and requesting the Office of the Governor to increase nationwide awareness about legacy wells and well sites, was adopted. 2012-03-23 Senate Journal Page 1927 Senator Coghill offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 3, line 2: Delete "Bureau of the Interior" Insert "Department of the Interior" Senator Coghill moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senators Coghill, Meyer, Ellis, Menard, Paskvan, Egan, Davis, McGuire, Stedman, Thomas, Wielechowski, Huggins, Giessel, Dyson, Olson moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cross sponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage.
